What projects do we fund? The Shuttleworth Foundation will consider requests that fall within our focus areas, i.e. maths, science and technology in education and open source software. We are specifically looking for projects that concentrate on supporting initiatives that link maths, science and technology with everyday life and career choices. Within these areas, funding very often falls under one or more of the following broad headings: • Projects:    o We funding well researched projects and measure the impact of a project • We fund the introduction and evaluation of new and exciting methodologies in    the teaching of maths, science and technology • Evaluation   o We will fund studies and research to ascertain the relevance and impact of      a potential project   o We fund the evaluation of existing projects • Promotion & Awareness   o We support fun activities such as workshops, competitions, promotions and      interactive gatherings that will promote and encourage an interest in      maths, science and technology
