The Shuttleworth Foundation in partnership with the Educational Management Development Centre and various service providers launched project MSET at Princeton High School in Mitchell`s Plain yesterday. The three-year project`s aim is to improve matriculants` results and encourage them to go into fields related to the four subjects. The 22 schools fall under the South Metropole, which includes areas such as Gugulethu, Hout Bay, and Steenberg. Shuttleworth Foundation trustee Lynne Matthews said the pilot project would put forward ideas and those that worked would be used by the state. |
