Every Saturday morning since the beginning of April, the Shuttleworth Foundation Open Source team joined forces with Cape Town's P4 104.9FM radio to create an awareness of open source and promote open source activities.
The exciting culmination of this campaign was the selection of ten schools to take part in a MEGA INSTALL on 16 June.
The Shuttleworth tuXlab Crew together with SLUG (Schools Linux User Group), volunteers and the schools tackled the challenge of installing 10 tuXlabs in one day. (That's over 210 machines).
P4 104.9FM radio broadcast live from the winning school - Duneside Primary School in Mitchells Plain.
Duneside received the official P4 radio lab and the live broadcast took place from this school on Youth Day - 16 June.
