The Trustees delegate authority to the Shuttleworth Foundation’s management team that is enabled to act for, and on behalf of the group entities in every respect, with the exception of their approval of the Audited annual financial statements.

The Shuttleworth Foundation’s Trustees meet on a quarterly basis to review the progress of the group entities’ activities.

The Shuttleworth Foundation is striving to create an open knowledge society, both in South Africa and around the world. It is a vision that will only be truly realised when all people are free to learn, invent, innovate and, ultimately, create their own opportunities.

The Annual Reports offer a glimpse into the ways in which the Foundation has been working to achieve this vision.

The 2010 – 2007 annual reports related to the previous group structure (SA based).  The annual report for December 2010 will be based on the new group structure. The 2011 annual report to be released soon.
