Getting Funded

As the Foundation is inundated with requests for funding, we require that funding proposals come via one of the following channels:

Please do not send proposals directly to staff members of the Shuttleworth Foundation.

Before submitting a proposal, please consider the following:

• The Shuttleworth Foundation begins the year with a predetermined list of projects allocated to the annum in accordance with the organisation's strategy for that particular year. These projects are allocated in a strategy session held towards the end of every year.

• A majority of the Foundation's funding budget is allocated towards this predetermined list of projects. Should you be wishing to provide a proposal for possible funding, it is therefore in your best interests to ensure that the potential project falls within the scope of strategy for the year.
